The Second Advent Christian™ Canon

Restyn, LLC recently released a new search engine for a public domain version of the Word of God, Small Canon Search™. The search engine's slogan, "The Word of God, The Whole Word of God, and Nothing But the Word of God" explains its mission to provide users with a search experience dedicated to the Second Advent Christian™ collection of scripture.

As a Second Advent Christian™ I believe that many books have been included in both the Catholic and Protestant canon that are not a part of the Word of God and that at least an equal number have been left out. For a complete list of the proper canon, check out the help file on Small Canon Search™ for a list of the books of God's Word.

Basically, the canon falls into three categories, pre-first advent, first advent, and second advent texts. These categories are generally labeled as Old Testament, New Testament, and Heavenly Doctrines. There are currently many more texts included in these three collections than properly belong. Examples such as the Chronicles of the kings of Israel, the epistles of the apostles, and the Apocalypse Explained are just a few of the many books that are useful for study and understanding but are not a part of the Word of God. Small Canon Search™ guarantees its users to provide only results from the Second Advent Christian™ canon and so it earns the place of my favorite online Bible Study Tool.
